moves forward with enhancing the efficiency of management and raising sales revenue of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), streetside vendors, hawkers, stalls, farmers and community enterprises through two additional support and promotion projects under the “depa mini Transformation Voucher” scheme to accelerate the adoption of digital technologies and innovation. , said the depa has committed to providing support and assistance to SMEs, small businesses, streetside vendors, hawkers, stalls, farmers and community enterprises so that they will be able to leverage the efficiency of business management and production process through the use of digital technologies. The objective is to strengthen the efficiency and boost competitiveness of their businesses throughout the supply chains from upstream to downstream.
“One of the depa’s key support and assistance measures is the “depa mini Transformation Voucher” scheme in collaboration with relevant agencies, digital startups and digital providers. Projects registered with the depa are eligible for receiving support and promotion in order to bring about business matching between users and service providers. The target groups, including SMEs, streetside vendors, hawkers, stalls, farmers and community enterprises, will be able to access a wide range of digital platforms with greater convenience. They will become confident in adopting any standardized digital technology that is relevant to the nature of their businesses. The depa’s assistant measures under the “depa mini Transformation Voucher” scheme have so far reached out to more than 3,000 businesses and individuals that encouraged them to adopt digital technologies and innovation” said the President/CEO of depa.
The depa’s subcommittee meeting to consider promotion and support under the depa mini Transformation Voucher approved two additional projects proposed by two organizations to promote the adoption of digital technologies and innovation. They are the batch of 240 support and promotional vouchers granted to support and promote the adoption of digital technologies and innovation in the Eastern Thailand proposed by the Chanthaburi Chamber of Commerce. The depa plans to provide support and promotion to target groups in Chachoengsao af
ter providing digital-driven support and promotion to businesses and individuals in Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. The promotion and support under the depa mini Transformation Voucher scheme have received a good response from target groups, including SMEs, business operators in trade and service sectors and farmers in those provinces.
The dapa’s subcommittee also approved support and assistance to 400 individual farmers under the “depa mini Transformation Voucher” scheme. It was proposed by the Suphanburi Rice Mills Association with an aim to encourage farmers to adopt digital technologies to improve farming practice, productivity, and enhance their competitiveness and be ready for any disruptions during the digital transformation. It is a methodically collective step forward to digital economy.
Dr.Nuttapon added that the depa stands ready to provide support and assistance to the target groups to adopt the digital technologies and innovation developed by the digital providers under the “depa mini Transformation Voucher” scheme to leverage their business operations and resources. They include the digital technologies and innovation related to Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Accounting and Fiscal System (ACC), Human Resource Management (HRM), Point of Sale (POS), E-Commerce Management System (E-Commerce), Logistics System (Logistics), Smart Farming Management System (Smart Farming), Booking Management System (Booking Engine) and Digital Tourism Platform.
The depa has high hopes that such digital technologies and innovation will play a crucial role in optimizing business management and enhancing business transformation for all community enterprises. They are expected to help drive sales revenue, expand sales and distribution channels on the online platforms as well as amplifying existing digital-to-consumer e-commerce capabilities for the benefits of all users while on the road to the Thailand 4.0 era.
